Mark Birskys
Principal Consultant
My working career commenced in Telstra, where I had a range of interesting and varied jobs that made significant improvements to the company and its people. These roles included Senior Customer Service Trainer, Principal Commercial and Policy Analyst, Learning and Development Manager, Operational Improvement Manager and Strategy and Planning Lead.
After I left Telstra in 2011, I was engaged as a management consultant to lead and manage the Value Improvement program on Origin Energy’s $13Bn APLNG Phase 1 project. The Value Improvement program had a target to deliver $673m in savings over a 3 ½ year period. The program was very successful and delivered $1.5B in savings, a year ahead of target.
After the success of the Value Improvement program, I decided to establish a management consulting company, Pivot, and Perform, to share my 30 years’ experience in strategic planning, business improvement, change management & facilitation with Not for Profits.

After 15 years of consulting to the not for profit sector I'm delighted to be applying my research, development and management skills at YFS. YFS is a not-for-profit organisation helping vulnerable people in Logan City to build independence and participation.
As Strategic Development Manager my role is to find ways to improve the effectiveness of our work and to build the sustainability of our organisation. It's a varied and interesting role in a great organisation.

Jonathon Roper

My passion is customer research, digital strategy and organisational planning. I love working with complex digital environments, and am a strong advocate of lean UX.
I’ve managed small digital agencies and run large and small teams involved in multi-state projects.
I’m an expert in user research, UX, online strategy, stakeholder engagement, content strategy and IA. I’ve researched, prototyped and tested apps, applications, websites and intranet interfaces.
